The 5 members of the Water & Sewer Authority are appointed by Borough Council and each serve for 5 years with a new member being appointed each year. The Authority is responsible for financing and/or the operation of the water and wastewater systems in McVeytown Borough. The Authority is required to follow the rules and regulations of the PA Department of Environmental Protection as well as the US Environmental Protection Agency and can only use the revenue generated by the water & sewer system and NOT general tax revenue
The regular Authority meetings are held the 1st Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the basement of the Borough Building, 10 N. Queen Street.

WSA Customers can pay their utility bills by through the mail, in person at the Borough office, or on-line using using their credit cards or PayPal account. On-Line Payment Form
New WSA Customers must pay a one-time Tapping Fee of $1,500.00 to complete their hook-up to the municipal water/sewer systems. This fee can be paid by check either through the mail, at the Borough office or on-line using a credit card or PayPal account Tapping Fee On-Line Payment.
You can pay your tapping fee in installments if you make those arraingements with the WSA. Call the Borough for more information.
