Welcome to the Borough of McVeytown's web site. McVeytown Borough is a small municipality in central Pennsylvania between Harrisburg and State College and located beside the beautiful Juniata River.  The Borough was incorporated on April 9, 1833. We are the birth place of Joseph T. Rothrock, Father of forestry in Pennsylvania and though we are small we have a big history.


URGENT/IMMEDIATE ATTENTION REQUIRED - If you have a sump pump or floor drain in your basement, please check your connections or contact the Maintenance Dept at (717) 899-7436 for assistance.  All connection for a sump pump and/or floor drain connected to the McVeytown Borough Sewer System must be removed immediately.
